Acceptance of these terms
These Terms of Use govern your access to and use of Everyside News, including everyside.news and the news discovery, comparison, summarisation, classification, linking and related features provided through the site (collectively, the “Service”). By accessing or using the Service, you agree to these Terms and our Privacy Policy. If you do not agree, please do not use the Service.
What Everyside provides
Everyside provides links, headlines, summaries, story groupings, source information, source-orientation labels, classifications and related features intended to help readers discover and compare reporting from multiple sources. Everyside generally does not publish the third-party news articles to which it links.
Information displayed on Everyside may be collected, processed, grouped, ranked, classified, translated or summarised using automated software, algorithms, artificial-intelligence systems, editorial rules or a combination of these methods.
Automated summaries and classifications
Automated systems can make mistakes. Summaries, classifications, source-orientation labels, story groupings, rankings and other automatically generated information may be incomplete, inaccurate, outdated or inconsistent with the underlying source.
Everyside summaries are intended to assist discovery and comparison and are not intended to replace the complete article. You should read the original publisher's article before relying on any reported fact, quotation, allegation or conclusion.
Source-orientation labels, classifications and other contextual indicators reflect Everyside's methodology or automated assessment. They should not be treated as definitive statements about a publisher, journalist, organisation or individual.
Automated party-position summaries and X embeds
The Party positions hub presents selected first-party political statements from official party channels and selected public leaders. Summaries are generated for navigation and comparison, are attributed to the source, and are not fact checks, endorsements, or conclusions about political beliefs. X posts are displayed through X's official embed tools and remain subject to X's terms and availability.
Third-party content and intellectual property
Original publishers, journalists, photographers, news agencies and other respective rights holders retain ownership of their reporting, photographs, videos, trademarks, logos and other protected material. Everyside does not claim ownership of third-party articles merely because they are indexed, linked, referenced, grouped or summarised through the Service.
Publisher names, headlines, excerpts, snippets, logos and other third-party material may be displayed for purposes including identification, discovery, reporting, commentary, comparison, reference and linking, subject to applicable law.
Nothing in these Terms transfers to you any intellectual-property rights belonging to Everyside or any third party.
Third-party links
Everyside links to websites operated by third parties. We do not control those websites and are not responsible for their availability, accuracy, editorial decisions, security, advertisements, subscription requirements, privacy practices or other content.
The inclusion, ranking or placement of an article or publisher does not constitute endorsement by Everyside. Likewise, the absence of a particular source does not imply criticism, disapproval or any judgment about that source.
Your use of third-party websites is subject to their own terms, policies and practices.
Editorial independence and viewpoints
Everyside is designed to help readers compare reporting and perspectives from different sources. Displaying, linking to or summarising content does not mean that Everyside agrees with or endorses the opinions, allegations, conclusions or political viewpoints contained in that content.
Story selection, ordering, grouping, source classification and presentation may be determined through automated systems, editorial rules or a combination of both.
Accuracy and your responsibility
News develops quickly and information can change after publication. Everyside does not guarantee that any headline, summary, classification, date, quotation, attribution, link or other information displayed through the Service is complete, accurate or current.
Verify important claims using the original article, relevant primary documents and, where appropriate, qualified professionals. Do not rely on Everyside for emergency, medical, legal, financial, investment, tax, employment, security or safety decisions. You are responsible for how you use information obtained through the Service.
Acceptable use
You may use the Service for lawful personal, informational, educational and research purposes. You must not use the Service for unlawful, fraudulent or malicious purposes; interfere with or disrupt the Service; introduce malicious software; attempt unauthorised access; bypass access controls, security measures or rate limits; impersonate Everyside; falsely claim affiliation with Everyside; or attempt to manipulate story groupings, rankings, classifications, source labels or automated summaries.
You must not systematically scrape, crawl, download or extract information from the Service in a manner that materially burdens the Service, circumvents technical restrictions or infringes the rights of Everyside or third parties.
Automated access
Ordinary indexing by legitimate search engines and reasonable automated access may be permitted subject to Everyside's robots.txt instructions, technical restrictions and applicable law. Everyside may restrict automated traffic that adversely affects the Service, circumvents technical controls or places unreasonable load on its infrastructure.

Submission of a correction request does not guarantee that information will be changed or removed. Everyside may review requests using available information, its methodology and applicable legal requirements.
Compliance with law
Everyside may preserve, restrict, disable, remove or disclose information where reasonably necessary to comply with applicable law, a valid court order or a lawful direction from a competent governmental or regulatory authority, or where reasonably necessary to protect the rights, security or integrity of Everyside, its Service, users or third parties.
Nothing in these Terms is intended to limit any protection, exemption, defence or safe harbour that may be available under the Information Technology Act, 2000, rules made under it, or other applicable law.
Privacy

No information obtained through Everyside constitutes a warranty or representation except where such warranty or representation cannot lawfully be excluded.
Limitation of liability
To the maximum extent permitted by applicable law, Everyside and its operators, contributors, employees, contractors and service providers will not be liable for indirect, incidental, special, consequential or similar losses arising from your access to, use of, inability to use or reliance upon the Service.
This includes, to the extent permitted by law, losses arising from inaccurate or incomplete summaries, classifications, automated output, third-party content, unavailable or incorrect links, interruptions or reliance on information displayed through the Service.
Nothing in these Terms excludes or limits any liability, remedy or statutory right that cannot lawfully be excluded or limited under applicable law, including applicable consumer-protection law.
Restriction of access
Everyside may restrict or block access where reasonably necessary to protect the Service, enforce these Terms, prevent abuse or unlawful activity, protect third-party rights or comply with applicable law.
Changes to these terms
We may update these Terms when the Service, technology, our practices or applicable legal requirements change. The “Last updated” date indicates the most recent revision. Your continued use of the Service after revised Terms become effective constitutes acceptance of the revised Terms to the extent permitted by applicable law.
Governing law
These Terms and your use of Everyside are governed by the laws of India, without prejudice to rights or remedies available under mandatory applicable law.
Subject to any jurisdiction that cannot lawfully be excluded, disputes relating to these Terms or the Service will be subject to the jurisdiction of the competent courts in India having jurisdiction over the operator of Everyside.
Severability
If any provision of these Terms is found to be invalid, unlawful or unenforceable, that provision will be applied to the maximum extent permitted by law and the remaining provisions will continue in effect.
