Context before conclusions. That’s the point ✦
About Everyside

See the whole story.

Everyside News is a news-comparison project built for readers who want context before conclusions.

What we do

We bring together reporting about the same event, create a concise orientation to the story, and show how different publishers frame it. A single story page can include national, regional, specialist, and international coverage so you can move from the headline to the evidence quickly.

Why we built it

News is often encountered as a stream of isolated alerts. That format makes it difficult to tell which facts are established, which details are disputed, and which perspectives are missing. Everyside makes comparison the starting point rather than the last step.

Our independence

Everyside does not sell editorial placement, accept payment for source labels, or ask publishers to change their coverage. We link to original publishers, respect their copyright, and identify automated output wherever it is used.

How to help

Tell us when a story is grouped incorrectly, a source label needs review, a link is broken, or an interface is difficult to use. Feedback helps us improve the product for every reader.

What we believe

Built around reader judgment.

Everyside aims to be useful, transparent, and modest about what automation can do.

Readers can decide.

People are capable of making their own judgments when they can see the underlying reporting.

Labels need context.

Publisher orientation is one signal among many, not a judgment about truth or quality.

Automation has limits.

Summaries and grouping help readers navigate coverage, but they do not replace original reporting.
