Alleged violence against opposition leaders

Jairam Ramesh, for the Indian National Congress, said the stone-pelting on the convoy of Bhupesh Baghel, Gaurav Gogoi, and other Congress leaders during campaigning in Assam was not just an incident. The Indian National Congress said it is demanding that the Election Commission obtain a report from the Nagaon DC and SP, transfer and suspend any officers responsible, and take strict action against those involved in the attack.
