Alleged assault in Connaught Place

Supriya Shrinate, for the Indian National Congress, alleged that a protester in Connaught Place was badly beaten by "Sanghi goons" and said a metal knuckle was clearly visible in a hand. Supriya Shrinate, for the Indian National Congress, alleged that Ravindra Govinda assaulted a 15-year-old Hindu girl and said he is a member of Hindu Raksha Dal and "the MLA's man." Shrinate also said Delhi Police is "coddling" him instead of taking strict action.
